How to Beat Bus Fever Party Level 42
To beat level 42, start with the buses at the outer arcs, let the dark buses show their colors as their paths clear, and send out the two buses in front of the garages once the waiting row has room. Choose buses whose arrows aim at open space, and keep one grey spot free for colors you cannot see yet.
About 30 buses stand in arcs around the middle. The top arc is a row of dark question-mark buses framed by short buses on both sides, and the lower arms hold dark buses behind longer ones. Each dark bus needs a free path before its color appears, so the order of taps matters a lot here.

Arcs Around Two Garages
The lot is drawn as three arcs. At the top, six dark buses with a question mark stand in a curve, with short buses pointing outward on both ends and three small buses tucked under the middle. On the lower sides, a dark bus stands at the end of each arm, backed by two long buses, and three more dark buses lie in a row at the bottom.
In the middle sit two purple garages, each with a counter of 1 and a regular bus standing in front. A garage rolls out its single bus only after the front bus has left, so the garages are the last link of the level.
Colors in your run can differ from these pictures, since buses and passengers are reshuffled between players. The positions and arrows never change, so follow the steps by place, such as the lower arms, the sides, the top arc and the garages.
Level 42 Walkthrough Step by Step
-
Start at the lower arms. Take buses at the outer arcs whose arrows point away from the lot. One bus is parked with 4 passengers to board. The dark buses and both garages are untouched, and nothing is rushed: the row has plenty of room.

Video solution for level 42
Below is a video of level 42 cleared from start to finish, ending with the garage buses. Colors vary from run to run, so rely on where each bus stands.
-
Reveal the bottom row. Four buses are now in the row, with 4, 40, 8 and 4 left to board, which uses up every grey spot. At the bottom, a dark bus has opened and shown its color, because the bus in front of it has left. Let the row fill before you tap.

-
Split the side pairs. Buses at the sides block each other, so send them out one at a time, starting with the one whose path is free. Three buses are parked with 4, 40 and 8. At the top of the arc, a dark bus has opened as well.

-
Roll the left garage. Once the bus in front of the left garage leaves, the garage rolls out its bus and the counter drops to 0. Two buses are parked, with 4 and 8, and the sides are almost empty. Park the garage bus only when the queue calls its color.

-
Thin the top arc. Most of the top arc is gone. Three buses are parked with 20, 4 and 16, and the right garage still holds its bus behind the one in front. One loose bus stands by itself on the left edge. Keep a grey spot free for the final buses.

-
Clear the right garage. Four buses are left: one at the top, a lone bus at the left edge, a short bus beside the right garage and the garage with its bus. The row holds 40, 4 and 4 to board. Tap the last buses in queue order to finish the level.

Hidden Arcs Lock the Lot
The run jams when every grey spot holds a bus the queue is not calling. Dark buses cause most of it here: you want to open them early, but a dark bus that rolls out takes a spot with a color you could not plan around. Tap a dark bus once its path is free and its color is showing. The second jam is rushing the short buses on the sides. They block each other in pairs, and parking both when the queue is calling other colors fills the row quickly. Send them out one at a time. The buses in front of the garages are the opposite case: holding them back stops the garages from rolling out their buses.
If it still jams, a restart returns the same layout, so open the dark buses one at a time next time.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if my colors differ from the pictures on level 42?
The bus and passenger colors differ per player, while the layout and arrows of level 42 stay put. Follow the steps by position: the lower arms, the sides, the top arc and the garages. Any color set works with that order, and the exact shades do not matter.
What are the dark buses with a question mark on level 42?
A dark bus keeps its color secret while the road ahead is blocked. When the bus in front leaves and the way opens, the color appears and you can judge whether the queue is calling it. Level 42 has 11 of them: six in the top arc, two at the sides and three at the bottom.
How do the two garages work on level 42?
Each purple garage shows a counter of 1 and has a regular bus standing in front of it. When that front bus leaves, the garage rolls out its one bus and the counter drops to 0. Send the front buses out when the waiting row has room.
Where should I start on level 42?
At the outer arcs, with buses whose arrows point away from the lot. They leave at once and open paths toward the dark buses behind them. Leave the top arc and the garages for later, because they add buses to a row that fills quickly.
What should I do if all grey spots fill up on level 42?
Wait for the parked buses to board; a bus that reaches zero leaves on its own and frees a spot. When nothing parked suits the queue, the Out of Spots window can give you a cleared row for coins or an ad, and it has a Restart link too. A restart with a calmer order is often better.
