How to Beat Bus Fever Party Level 38

Published: 2026-10-29

Level 38 is an open lot of about 40 buses with no garages and no hidden colors, so everything depends on the order of your taps. Take the buses on the outer edge first, leave one grey spot empty at all times, and let the queue decide which bus goes next.

Below you will find six steps with screenshots, a video, and the places where runs usually fail. The lot has plenty of room, so the only way to lose is to fill the waiting row with buses that nobody is calling for.

A Wide Open Lot

Bus Fever Party level 38: about forty small buses spread across the lot, two upright buses at the top center, empty waiting row
Level 38 at the start.

About 40 small buses are scattered across the lot with wide gaps between them, pointing in every direction. Two upright buses stand side by side at the top center, a short column of upright buses runs through the middle, and a column of buses with down arrows stands along the right edge. A few longer buses sit at the left and the bottom.

Nothing is locked here. Waiting buses use VIP, four grey spots or the three green spots with a plus. Colors in the screenshots may not be yours because they are mixed up between runs, but since the steps follow position, they fit any color set.

Level 38 Walkthrough Step by Step

  1. Start with the top pair. Nothing stands in front of the two upright buses at the top, so one of them goes first. Two buses park with 4 and 8 passengers to board, and the top of the lot starts to clear. Pick the one the queue calls and leave the rest.

This video follows level 38 from the first tap to the last bus, so watch it if you want to see the order of taps on this exact lot.

  1. Keep the pace with short buses. Take short buses from the edges one by one. Three buses now stand in the row, so one grey spot stays free and the green spots stay unused. Glance at the front of the queue before each tap.

  2. Open the upper left. The group at the upper left has loosened, and the buses there can leave one after another. Send the one the queue wants and hold back the rest. The row holds three buses, with 4, 16 and 24 left to board.

  3. Clear the right side. The column along the right edge opens as its neighbors drive away. Buses park with 28, 8 and 24 here, and a new bus is already leaving. Finish the right edge before you turn to the center.

  4. Thin the middle. Only about a dozen buses are left, in a group on the upper left, in the middle and at the lower left. A bus with 20 passengers to board sits in the row. Every path out is short now, so take any bus the queue is calling.

  5. Finish the stragglers. Only a handful of buses remain, spread far apart. Tap each one as its color reaches the head of the queue. The lot is empty a few taps later.

Where Level 38 Fails

The run fails when all four grey spots fill with buses whose color the queue calls only much later. The lot is wide open, so every bus looks tempting, and tapping the nearest one feels safe. A long bus that parks too early sits in the row for ages with a big number under it, and the spots behind it run out. Before every tap, find out who stands first in the queue and who follows, and only send a bus that matches one of them. When the row is full, stop and give the parked buses time to load; each one that hits zero drives off and returns its spot. If nothing parked suits the queue, you can take an extra spot or restart, and a restart with a stricter order costs less.

The second trap is the center. Buses on the edge leave easily, but buses in the middle can only leave once the buses around them are gone. If you take center buses first, their arrows end up pointing at neighbors and the taps do nothing. Work from the outside in, and use the VIP spot only when a needed bus is stuck behind the others.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many waiting spots does level 38 have?

The row has eight spots: the orange VIP spot plus four grey and three green ones, the green ones marked with a plus. The green spots start locked, so plan for the four grey ones. That is why you should not park more than three buses at once.

Are there garages or dark buses on level 38?

No. Every bus on the field is visible and no garage is on it. All the difficulty comes from the order of taps and the waiting row, which is why the level rewards patience more than speed.

Which bus should I tap first?

Take a bus at the top of the lot that matches the first color in the queue. The upright pair at the top has open road ahead. After that, keep working along the outer edge before touching anything in the middle.

Why are my colors not the same as in the walkthrough?

Colors of buses and passengers are mixed up between runs, while the positions and arrows stay the same. Follow the order by position and by what the queue calls, and the walkthrough works with any set of colors.

Do I need boosters to pass level 38?

No. You can clear the level with no help from VIP, Arrange or Jumble. Spend your attention on the queue instead: send only buses that the head of the line wants, and the four grey spots will be enough for the whole run.
