How to Beat Bus Fever Party Level 221

Published: 2026-10-29

To beat level 221, work from the top rows inward, send only the buses the queue needs soon, and clear the path around each dark bus with a question mark before you try to move it. You get five grey waiting spots here, one more than on most levels, which gives you room for a mistake or two but not for a habit of parking buses early.

About 45 buses stand in one big block with horizontal and vertical arrows. Four of them are dark with a question mark, so their color is hidden until the road in front of them is open. The rest of the lot is a plain puzzle of who blocks whom.

Dark Buses Among Many

Bus Fever Party level 221 at the start: about forty-five buses in a block, four dark buses with a question mark, five grey waiting spots and the VIP, Arrange and Jumble buttons
Level 221 at the start.

The upper rows are the loosest. Three short buses with arrows pointing left lie along the top, next to a stack of short buses piled in the upper left. Right under them two dark buses with a question mark stand upright in the middle of the block, and two tall buses with arrows pointing up stand next to them.

The lower half is much denser. Two more dark buses with a question mark sit at the lower left of the center, and around them short buses point in every direction. At the bottom a row of buses is lined up, all with arrows pointing right.

The color of a dark bus shows up once its way is free. All other colors are shuffled for each player, so your lot can look different from the pictures. Positions and arrows are the same, and the steps below follow them.

Level 221 Walkthrough Step by Step

  1. Open the upper rows. Tap the buses at the top whose arrows point left or up into the open. One of them drives into the waiting row at once and gets its first passengers. Each one that leaves frees the way for a bus behind it.

  1. Work down the side. Next take the buses along the left and right sides of the block, where roads are open. Park a bus only for a group the queue serves soon. One bus is parked now, with 16 under it, and the block has lost a few buses on its outer side.

  2. Fill the row with purpose. Five buses are parked here and the grey spots are nearly all taken, so each tap counts. Choose buses for the first groups in the queue and hold anything else back. The short buses in the middle open a road toward the dark ones.

  3. Uncover the dark buses. Clear the buses around the dark ones with a question mark. When the road in front of one of them opens, its color appears, and you can decide whether to send it. The upper pair stays closed longer, so start with the two lower ones on the left.

  4. Take apart the left side. The left of the lot is now looser. Tap the buses there when their groups come up in the queue, and let the parked ones fill and leave in between. Three buses stay in the row at this point, leaving two grey spots free.

  5. Clear the last buses. Only a few buses remain: one with an arrow pointing left at the top, a dark one with a question mark in the middle, two small ones with arrows pointing up under it, and one at the lower left. Send them as the queue reaches their groups, and the lot is empty.

Why 221 Locks Up

Most failed runs stop when the grey spots are full of buses whose groups are far from the front of the queue. With five spots it feels safe, so you tap a few buses without checking the queue, and then nothing can board. Check the first group before every single tap, and ask yourself whether a bus for it is already parked. If it is, the next tap can open the lot instead.

The dark buses cause the other kind of failure. You cannot read their color until the road is open, so it is easy to waste a spot on a bus that the queue will not need for a long time. Clear the buses around them first, look at the color that appears, and only then decide when to tap.

If you get stuck, wait for the parked buses to fill and drive off. Then start the next section with a plan rather than another quick tap.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do the dark buses with a question mark mean on level 221?

The color of a dark bus is hidden until the road in front of it is open. Then the color appears and you decide whether to send it. The level has four of them, two in the upper center and two at the lower left of the center.

Why do my colors look different on level 221?

Each player gets a new shuffle of bus and passenger colors, while the layout and arrows stay the same. Follow the steps by position: the top rows, the edges of the block, the area around the dark buses, then the left side and the last few buses.

How many grey waiting spots does level 221 have?

Five grey spots, plus the VIP spot on the left and two green spots with a plus. That is one more grey spot than on many other levels, so you can park one bus while it waits for its group, but not several.

Where should I start on level 221?

At the top rows, where three buses have arrows pointing left. Those roads are open from the first tap. Then go to the edges of the block and leave the middle, with the four dark buses, for the second half of the level.

What should I do when all spots are taken on level 221?

Wait for a parked bus to reach zero, because it leaves by itself and opens a spot. If the parked buses do not match the queue, you are offered an extra spot for coins or an ad, or a restart. Restarting with a better plan is the cleaner fix.
